Retail TouchPoints honors KPM in Retail Innovator and 40 Under 40 Awards
Retail media is driving innovation among a wide range of industries, from digital advertising to sustainability.
This unique moment calls for adept navigation of dynamic media landscapes and bold, groundbreaking leadership. Kroger Precision Marketing (KPM) is proud to announce that two of our standout leaders, Halli Goddard and Christine Foster, have been honored by Retail TouchPoints for their exceptional contributions to the retail industry.
Celebrating emerging leaders: Halli Goddard
Halli Goddard, KPM’s Market Planning Manager, Media Activation, has been recognized in this year’s 40 Under 40 Awards by Retail TouchPoints and Design:Retail as one of the retail industry’s “emerging leaders worth knowing.” With 15 years of experience in broadcasting and digital media, Goddard has been instrumental in forging collaborations with giants like Disney and Roku.
In her role, Goddard oversees partner expansion, contract support, and compliance guidance. Her leadership in integrating Kroger's precision audiences with Roku's vast subscriber base has enabled advertisers to build high-performing audiences and directly attribute conversions from their Roku advertising. This initiative has led to significant uplifts in sales, household penetration, and return on ad spend. Additionally, her work with Disney Advertising combines premium streaming content with KPM’s audience science, enhancing the impact of advertising campaigns.
Honoring visionary innovators: Christine Foster
Christine Foster, a visionary leader in media sustainability practices, has been chosen by Retail TouchPoints for this year’s Retail Innovator Awards. Foster’s innovative approach to decarbonizing digital media campaigns and reducing delivery on high-emitting, climate-risk inventory has set new standards in the industry.
Foster’s commitment to sustainability is evident through her proactive participation in Ad Net Zero and collaboration with Scope3, an organization dedicated to reducing carbon emissions in digital advertising. By leveraging retail data to minimize waste and lower emissions, she has demonstrated that what's good for business can also be good for the environment. Under her leadership, KPM has become the first retail media company to measure and reduce the carbon impact of digital advertising effectively.
Foster’s efforts extend beyond KPM. She is an influential voice in the broader advertising industry, sharing her expertise through articles and speaking engagements. Her insights on retailer-publisher partnerships and strategies to lower carbon emissions within the media supply chain have been invaluable.
Acknowledging excellence in retail media
Each year, these award programs highlight individuals who represent the diversity and innovation within the retail industry. Winners are selected for their business impact and contributions, such as introducing new solutions, market categories, and concepts. Halli Goddard and Christine Foster exemplify these qualities through their remarkable achievements and leadership.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the recognition of both Halli Goddard and Christine Foster,” said Cara Pratt, SVP of Kroger Precision Marketing. “Their dedication, innovative spirit, and visionary leadership continue to drive positive change within KPM and the wider retail media landscape. We look forward to their continued contributions and the groundbreaking transformations they inspire.”
